EP 256: The State of Publishing in 2018 w/Loren Baker
Fifteen years ago, Loren Baker decided to start up a website (or web journal, at the time) called Search Engine Journal and now it has become one of the most popular blogs in the SEO industry.
In this episode, we talk to Loren about the backstory of Search Engine Journal and how it got its start plus we dive into the state of publishing in 2018. We also sprinkle in a little talk about Google Search Console and the latest updates from AMP Conference.
At the second annual AMP Conference, held on 13 and 14 February in Amsterdam, there was no such ambiguity. Almost every speaker sung AMP’s praises and tried to emphasise the various ways AMP is awesome.
On December 14, many Google AdWords Grant Advertisers received an email from the Google Ad Grants team notifying them that the $2 maximum CPC limitation has been lifted, effective immediately, to those that are using “Maximize Conversions” automated bidding.
