We talked about Facebook’s plans for TV on our podcast for the last couple weeks, but YouTube has jumped into the game as well announcing their TV service for the YouTube generation – YouTube TV.

For $35, YouTube TV customers will get access to 40 channels including local TV stations, ESPN, Disney, and other popular cable networks. With a YouTube TV subscription, users will get six accounts – each with a personal cloud DVR with no storage limits.

YouTube TV will also include all the original content with YouTube Red and it will be compatible with Chromecast, Android, and iOS devices.

To sign up for YouTube TV, you can sign up to get notified of its launch at their website: tv.youtube.com
